Shipping & Return FAQ
Which carrier do you use for shipping?
We ship via UPS in the US and abroad. In Louisiana, we ship via USPS. If you would like us to use a different carrier, please call us at 504.204.3047 to make arrangements.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
We will exchange or return unused items within 30 days of purchase. We do our best to check every piece before it ships for defects. Our weavers make one piece at a time and each Turkish towel or blanket or scarf is unique. Small variations in the fabric might occur, and we think this makes our Turkish towels and blankets and scarves special as it reflects their hand-made nature. These variations are small and will not affect the utility of your piece. Most irregularities work themselves out after the first wash.
Do you pay for return shipping or does the customer?
If you are returning a defective piece, we will cover return shipping costs both ways. If you are returning a piece for aesthetic reasons or exchanging a gift, we regret that we cannot cover those shipping costs but we will happily exchange your item!
Is there a time frame for accepting returns and exchanges?
Returns and exchanges must be postmarked within 30 days of receipt. Gifts are an exception; they can be returned in original condition for store credit within 60 days of receipt.
We do not process exchanges until your original merchandise has been returned. We do not hold merchandise in other colors until we have received your return in the time frame indicated and in unused condition.
Do you use tracking numbers when you ship?
We do! When we create a shipment you will receive an email from UPS or USPS with tracking information. Please note: we are not responsible for shipments after delivery confirmation by USPS or UPS. Please consider your needs when selecting a shipping address, and if your package needs special instructions contact us at 504.304.2047. Loomed does not purchase shipping insurance on packages. If you would like to add insurance, please contact us at 504.304.2047.
Do you ship every day that you get an order - or maybe just once or twice per week?
We strive to process orders M-F in two business days. If you place an order over the weekend or on a holiday, we process and ship the following Monday or business day.
